Unpacking, Settling-In & Hanging Artwork
Unpacking, Settling-In & Hanging Artwork
Ahh, the finishing touches. They are what makes a home feel like a home. But while it can take a single day to move, it often takes months to unpack. Imagine coming home at the end of day one to find that the boxes and packing peanuts have been replaced by organized cabinets, walls full of pictures, and a TV that’s ready to be turned to your favorite show. You can sleep in your own bed knowing that the move is behind you, and it didn’t stress you out a bit.
A new home presents the opportunity to develop systems for our items that are both neatly organized and aesthetically pleasing. Our senior move managers can organize every space in your home and will find the perfect way to display your items and give them a purpose. We assist in organizing kitchen and bathroom cabinets and closets, completing delicate china displays and putting away clothing in closets and drawers. We also can reconnect computers, televisions, phones, clocks, stereo, and small appliances.
We not only know how to professionally hang art, but we also have experience creating arrangements that allow you to feature more art on less wall space. Let us make your pictures, art, and collectibles look fabulous! When all of your items have been unpacked and have found their new place, we are also happy to remove and dispose of all boxes and packing material.

Can’t say enough great things about Seniors Moving Smarter! My parents were moved today from their condominium home of 26 years to a senior community “apartment”. From the team of “packers” who arrived yesterday to begin the process to the team of movers who arrived today to load the truck, everyone was friendly, helpful and anticipated many of my parents needs before they even knew what it was they needed. A+++ I would recommend Seniors Moving Smarter to anyone moving their elderly parents.
While looking for a job that I would feel passionate about I came across Seniors Moving Smarter. What a fantastic company!
Thanks so much. Everything was great. Your idea to keep things familiar and the way the room was set up was perfect. After getting Dad to Fulton Manor and sitting for about twenty minutes, he made a comment that he thought he was going to move that day. Everything was so familiar that he didn’t even realize he was already moved. The items shipped to Virginia went so fast that the boxes were already on the porch when we got home late Friday night. You did a great job four and a half years ago and you did a great job this time as well. Thank you.
Thank you Liz for guiding my move so successful. Thanks also to Gregg and Patrick/Cory who did such a fine job of loading the truck and safely transporting my possessions to Wis and to Cory who was here to unload. Special thanks to Gregg who was most helpful in placing furniture where I thought it should go. I shall honestly recommend your service to all.
Miracle workers! Calm, kind, compassionate, and totally professional. On one of the most difficult days of my life, moving my Mother suffering from dementia to a new living facility on a moment’s notice, Liz was an anchor and a rock during the entire mad-dash process. I am forever grateful.
Thank you so much for pulling off Mother’s move so quickly and with such care and efficiency. What a wonderful service!!
We were super pleased with your moving. I remembered I was super impressed with our 1st move and the 2nd topped that!!! Thank you lots.
Thank you for your excellence. You and your team made a difficult move manageable. I really enjoyed working with Laurie. Also, Nan and Lisa. Thank you again for what you do.
We were very pleased with the move this week. Thanks for working with us on such short notice.
Most useful service for current culture. Capable of answering questions and overcoming challenges we couldn’t even have anticipated. Made what can be a difficult transition emotionally soothing.
